C ollaboration with the community to provide IT services
A voiding high costs of computer usage and purchase
R epurposing computers to avoid landfill
Is a social enterprise based in Bolton collecting unwanted computer equipment from around the UK northwest, with community inclusion and involvement at its heart.
All equipment that we collect is diverted from landfill, and we aim to upcycle unusable components by providing materials for reuse by the wider community and provide ‘the fourth utility’ – digital connectivity.
Our aim is to soon transform into an IT training venue and Digital Café, holding computer workshops and placements for those who need them.
We also work with Digital Champions and volunteers, and we invite you, the local community, to help develop and take ownership of our invaluable community resources, so get in touch with us via email or social media now to play your part in bridging the digital divide.
